So pleased with this purchase! There are so many little activities within this booklet. They manage to teach elements of Art without being too complicated. Students could mostly work on the challenge cards on their own with just a few questions. Perfect for the end of the year when you are so busy! Highly recommend!

This was so useful for me to use with my kids that needed an extra task/activity while others were finishing up their major projects. Thank you!

These 40 End of Year Art Challenge Cards are low-prep, half-page art tasks that reinforce the Elements of Art and give students room to experiment and make choices. They are made for the final weeks of school, when schedules shift and you need reliable activities that keep students creating.

The cards encourage choice-based learning and ask students to reflect on what they explored in art this year. They print in black and white and work with any art supplies you have on hand, in the classroom or at home.

HOW TO USE IT

Use the cards as bell ringers and warm-ups, fast finisher activities, sketchbook or journal prompts, choice-based art centers, daily art tasks and exit tickets, or sub plans. Use one a day, assign a handful over a week, or let students pick the ones they want to explore.

No special tools are needed. Students can use crayons, colored pencils, markers, watercolor, pastels or collage scraps. The small format makes printing easy and the tasks quick to complete, and students can mostly work through them on their own.
