★★★★★These turned out SO GREAT! My kids were able to produce some really cute art without stress or drama. (In a class of perfectionists, that's a win!)

This Stacked Birds Spring Art Lesson is a drawing and painting project for primary students in Kindergarten to Grade 3. Students learn to draw a simple bird step by step, then repeat it to stack several birds on top of each other in a playful, colorful spring artwork.
The project introduces the Principle of Design: Repetition, showing students how repeating a shape creates rhythm and visual interest. Students decorate each bird with patterns and color, then paint a bright background to finish their spring scene.
WHAT'S INCLUDED (NON-EDITABLE)

WHAT STUDENTS LEARN
Students practice step-by-step bird drawing, the principle of repetition, designing patterns inside shapes, building a colorful composition, and painting over crayon or pastel drawings. The simple shapes and clear steps help young artists who are just beginning to develop their drawing skills feel successful and confident.
It fits spring art lessons, bird units, primary drawing lessons, homeschool art and substitute teacher art plans.
