This Autumn Bunny with Pumpkin Art Lesson is a seasonal art project for primary elementary learners. Students create a sweet autumn bunny holding a pumpkin using directed drawing, line work, shape building and crayon resist painting with watercolor or tempera.

It includes both a PDF tutorial and a PowerPoint slide tutorial, so you can project the steps, click through slides or demonstrate as you go. Reading comprehension, writing prompts, reflections, a rubric, display pieces and extension pages let you connect art with reading and writing and stretch the project over more than one class.
