Line Art with Skewers or Tooth Picks

Use skewers or tooth picks or other toys or materials around the house (like K’nex or Zip Ties) to layer and turn into line art. The way you layer can have different effects so play around the with mediums and try different things. Can you make your composition look happy? Whimsical? Angry? Can you turn it into a bird? A nest? A tree? Have kids take a picture with a device for an ever-lasting work of art that explores the element of art: line.

This is a perfect, at-home Element of Art: Color lesson! Home Schooling and Distance Learning will be a breeze when you use what art mediums you have around you.

I love painting with Bamboo paint brushes. This is a great set to use if you need versatile paint brushes for your home.
